Families Against Mandatory Minimums, a Washington DC-based nonprofit, commissioned a survey of 400 likely voters in Maryland on Nov. 17-19 through Harper Polling.
Families Against Mandatory Minimums, a Washington DC-based nonprofit, commissioned a survey of 400 likely voters in Maryland on Nov. 17-19 through Harper Polling. Results showed that 46 percent of respondents oppose mandatory minimum sentences "as required by law." When it came to repealing mandatory minimums for non-violent drug offenses, 70 percent were in favor.
