Harper Polling Relaunches Under Original Leadership to Deliver Bespoke, High-Quality Political Research
Washington, D.C. – Harper Polling, a trusted name in political and public opinion research, is proud to announce its relaunch, returning to its roots as a bespoke polling and market research firm. Led once again by pollster and sole owner, Brock McCleary, and joined by veteran data strategist Mike Yelovich as Managing Director, Harper Polling is reentering the market with a renewed commitment to high-touch and high-accuracy public policy research.
Founded in 2012, Harper quickly built a national reputation for affordable and precise market research. That commitment to quality has led to the Harper Polling team being trusted with some of the most competitive and consequential efforts in politics and policy. From top-tier political campaigns to complex public policy advocacy, Harper’s data and analysis have helped drive decisive outcomes across the country.
“I’m grateful to many for the five most consequential years of my career. Helping catapult the great team at Cygnal, serving as a pollster to President Trump in the heartbreak of 2020, and playing my part in the rise of Vivek, I’ve been the beneficiary of much good fortune” said Founder, Brock McCleary. “I’m excited for what my second decade as a pollster has in store and proud to fly the flag again with my daughter’s name on it.”
McCleary’s hands-on, principal-led approach has earned praise from longtime partners. “I have known Brock for nearly 30 years as a friend and a decade as my pollster. Brock offers clarity and calm in uncertain moments and a perspective that cuts through the noise of conventional wisdom,” said former Congressman and Speaker pro tempore of the U.S. House of Representatives, Patrick McHenry.
Another political client reflected on Harper’s distinct value in a competitive market: “Brock has been a trusted partner since the beginning. His insights on how to convert polling data into action gives our campaigns a strategic advantage,” said Congresswoman Harriet Hageman of Wyoming.
While political data and strategy remains central to Harper’s work, its team has increasingly become a sought-after resource for advocacy organizations and corporations looking to better understand public sentiment, brand positioning, and consumer behavior. “Whether in polling or focus groups, Brock McCleary’s ability to elicit true and accurate public opinion about highly complex policy issues gave us great clarity and confidence about our messaging and strategy,” said Richard Gose, Hunter Station Strategies Principal and former Chief Political Officer of America’s Credit Unions. “Brock and Mike’s expertise, responsiveness, and passion makes them feel like an extension of our team.”
With its relaunch, Harper Polling reintroduces a boutique, collaborative model that blends data science with expert strategic logic and intuition, serving campaigns and causes alike that demand clarity in an increasingly complex world.
